The Sheppard series of tactical plate carriers from Guard Dog Body Armor is a versatile and high-quality tactical vest designed to accept standard 10"x12" ballistic plates, as well as smaller side pockets for 6"x6" or 6"x8" side plates. Manufactured from 600D Oxford fabric, they are rugged, durable, and designed for hard use. The Sheppard plate carrier features a total of (5) AR15 magazine pouches, 3 in the front with 2 on the side waists. It also has 3 pistol magazine pouches located toward the top of the front vest, with all magazine pouches having adjustable retention bungees.

At the rear, you have a large lower and a smaller upper admin pouch for mixed use. These are great for storing medical, or additional kit as needed, creating a versatile storage setting. All sides of the vest feature MOLLE webbing for additional attachments to be added or moved at the user’s discretion, including on the front of the AR15 magazine pouches. The shoulder straps have integrated heavy padding helping to disperse weight, coupled with heavy-duty metal quick detach fast clips, allowing the carrier (if the waist is uncoupled as well) to drop free and out of the way.
