PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The GL15223SSBLIM from Great Lakes Firearms showcases its excellent features. Its action is a semi-auto with no ambidextrous safety and it possesses a 16-inch heavy barrel with a 1:8 twist. The barrel can either be made of high-quality 416rd SS or 4150 Crmov Nitride and comes with 1/2 x 28 threads.

This model is calibrated for .223 Wylde, making it capable of shooting both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO. The M4 feed ramps make it highly efficient, and it is equipped with a Cerakote finish which is both durable and attractive. The frame of this firearm is made from Aluminum 7075, guaranteeing strength and longevity.

Its gas system consists of a 0.750 Gas Block (Black Oxide) and a Carbine Gas Tube. The grip is comfortably designed with mil-spec polymer, and its handguard is a full picatinny rail made from Aluminum 6061 at 15.25 inches. With a magazine capacity of 30 rounds and one magazine included with the purchase, it makes for a reliable firearm.

This firearm incorporates a muzzle brake, designed to be tightened at 6 degrees forward without the need for Loctite. This model does not come with sights; however, it features a milspec trigger with a 5.5-6 lb pull. The upper is crafted from reliable 7075 material. The overall length is 33.25 inches and it weighs a manageable 6.8 lbs.
