The Fusion 1911GOLD9 is a part of our Freedom Series, presenting the Combat Carry model. This model features a traditional 1911 Commander 4.25-inch configuration, including a solid Bar-Stock frame, slide, and chrome-moly barrel. Specifically designed with carry and defensive-style target shooting usage in mind, this rugged, 70 series pistol comes equipped with numerous features.
Key facets of the Fusion 1911GOLD9 include mil-spec style rear cocking serrations, a target-crowned HD-chrome barrel, and a classic commander ring hammer. The beavertail grip safety, Novak compatible sights, and Extended combat carry thumb safety maximize usability and safety. Additionally, it comes with a Bar-Stock power-style extractor and a rounded butt of frame and mainspring housing to offer optimal carry comfort.
Fusion likes to perfect every detail, which is why we've also incorporated a beveled magazine well and added our Fusion Hand Select red cocobolo grips for a perfect hold. As with all Freedom Series pistols, the fitted frame, slide and barrel are all precision CNC machined from Solid billet bar-stock for maximum structural integrity. We only use all steel construction for these pistols, shunning any use of plastic parts for a durable, long-lasting product.
