The Fusion 1911LSBASE45 exemplifies the original 1911 Series 70 Colt design in a Long-Slide Configuration. Every element, including Frame, Slide, and Barrel, is crafted with precision from Bar-Stock using CNC machining - completely avoiding the use of plastic. Moreover, the gunsmithing ensures a precision fit between the frame, slide, and barrel.
This pistol features a 6-inch Long-Slide Configuration that is beautifully complemented with front-strap and mag-well checkering on the frame. Among the standard features, you'll find an extended thumb safety along with a beavertail grip safety. The HD Chrome barrel offers a target crowed finish which not only enhances accuracy but also eases cleaning.
For an exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy, we have incorporated positive barrel lock-up. We've also given much thought to performance, providing a lowered and relieved ejection port. Our Tuned Power style extractor and the traditional 70 series design's compatibility with standard Colt style replacement parts assure you of incredible functionality and stability.
