The Fusion 1911COMBAT9 is a classic 1911 Series 70 Colt commander design, with a 4.25 Combat Commander Configuration. It's an all-steel configuration, with no plastic. Precision gunsmith fitted frame, slide, and barrel provide optimum accuracy and reliability. The frame, slide, and barrel are all precision CNC machined from bar-stock for superior quality and durability. It features premium red cocobolo exotic hardwood grips for an elegant touch.
This model comes with an HD Chrome barrel that is target crowned, ensuring excellent accuracy and easy cleaning. Positive barrel lock-up allows for superior accuracy right out of the box. The ejection port has been lowered and relieved for improved performance. The power style extractor has been keenly tuned, and the magazine entrance is generously beveled for ease of use.
The 1911COMBAT9 maintains the traditional 70 series design, making it compatible with standard Colt style replacement parts. It features a lightweight and fast-cycling traditional Commander hammer, an extended combat thumb-safety, and a standard Beavertail grip safety. The frame's butt and mainspring housing have been rounded for added carry comfort. It's also equipped with Novak compatible sight cuts for ease of sight change. Fusion's limited lifetime warranty applies to this model.
With a weight of 36.44oz without mag, this model also has a mag capacity of 8+1. It comes with 1 magazine. The Fusion Freedom Series Combat Carry model is available chambered in either 45 acp or 9mm. It's designed with carry and defensive style target shooting in mind. This rugged 70 series pistol is equipped with a classic commander ring hammer, beavertail grip safety, and Novak compatible sights. Furthermore, it features an Extended combat carry thumb safety, Bar-Stock power style extractor, and is outfitted with FusionHand Selec red cocobolo grips.
