The Fusion 1911COMBAT45 Freedom Combat model is a classic 1911 Commander configuration, crafted with a solid Bar-Stock frame, slide, and chrome-moly barrel. It's compatible with standardized Colt-style replacement parts, having been designed for both target shooting in a defensive style and carry applications.
Notably, this rugged 70 series pistol boasts mil-spec style rear cocking serrations, a target-crowned HD-chrome barrel, a classic commander ring hammer, and a beavertail grip safety. Also, it's fitted with Novak compatible sights and sports an extended combat carry thumb safety. It includes a Bar-Stock power style extractor for optimal performance.
The Fusion 1911COMBAT45's frame butt and mainspring housing are rounded for enhanced carry comfort. Plus, the magazine well is beveled, making it highly user-friendly. The pistol comes stocked with our Fusion "Hand Select" red Cocobolo grips, adding a touch of elegance and providing a firm grip.
Like all our Freedom Series pistols, the fitted frame, slide, and barrel of the Fusion 1911COMBAT45 are precision CNC machined from solid billet Bar-Stock. This ensures a quality product with superior durability and precision. Casting techniques are not used in our manufacturing process, and there are no 2-piece barrels.
