Foxtrot Mike Products is a company that has become synonymous with innovation, and quality. We are pleased to say they have done it again, exceeding expectations with their new series of billet AR9 pistols. This FMP9 is absolutely choked full of features that elevate this 9mm PDW above other products on the market today. Foxtrot Mike takes pride in what they manufacture and as such, use the best material possible for their offerings. The upper and lower receivers are made from Billet aircraft grade aluminum, with a Type III Hard Black Anodized finish, while the barrel is a 10" 41v50 Black Nitride with 1/2x36 thread pitch and 1:10 twist. This creates the base for a durable Duty ready direct blowback pistol caliber PDW. Besides creating the heart and soul of the FMP9 out of quality materials, they have also added multiple user-friendly features to it as well. The FM9A-F109-BM2 comes with a 4-position ambidextrous forward nonreciprocating charging handle that allows the user to grab towards the front of the weapon to manipulate, instead of reaching behind your trigger finger/ hand to manipulate the action, breaking your cheek weld and sight picture as you typically have to with traditional AR T charging handles. While the charging handle is 4-position and ambidextrous, you also get an ambidextrous selector switch, and incredibly enough an ambidextrous bolt hold open. There are not many, if any, AR9 models out there with an ambidextrous BHO lever on the right side of the firearm for quick manipulation. FM Products has made their BHO intuitive and easy to manipulate. Closing out the features of this firearm is an 8.75" MLOK Free Float rail system, multi-positional mil-spec buffer tube (ready for the application of your choice of pistol brace), a blast can, and 1-27rd 9mm Glock magazine. Weighing in at just 5.6lbs, this lightweight PDW is the perfect option for home defense, or personal protection while on the go.
