Introducing the new Fostech Stryker Tech AR-15 Rifle with Echo Sport Trigger. This rifle is one of the lightest and most high-quality AR-15 rifles available anywhere in the marketplace. Coming in at only 5.6 pounds, it is built to carry all day and is still tough as nails. The rifle features a full profile 1 in 7 twist barrel, a black nitride bolt carrier group and the newly designed 13" Mach 2 black lightweight M Lok rail which allows the rifle to keep an ultra trim profile while also making it a workhorse capable of long days on the range. These rifles are designed to hold up under even the heaviest combat conditions while still being a literal work of art. This model features a Fostech Tech 15 forged and anodized upper and lower receiver set and is completed with an ergonomic Fostech Sabre pistol grip, an MFT Minimalist 6 position stock, and the hugely popular Fostech Strake muzzle brake. Each rifle ships complete with a set of Flip-Up Sights ( the ones we looked at had Kriss sights which are very nice ), but sights may vary based on availability. What a find and at a spectacular price! The Fostech Stryker Tech 5.56 Nato AR-15 Rifle with Echo Sport Trigger is built on the foundation of FosTech's extremely lightweight Tech 15 forged upper and lower receiver. The rifle is finished in an attractive midnight black finish and features the newly designed FosTech Mach-2 black M-Lok rail! Other features include a 16" standard profile barrel, a Fostech black nitride bolt carrier group, and tons of other unique and proprietary features. The rifle also features an MFT Minimalist Stock, a Sabre Grip and of course, the piece de resistance, a factory pre-installed FosTech Echo Sport Trigger.
About the Echo Sport Trigger - The Echo Sport Trigger from Fostech provides the same pull-and-release firing functionality of the original Fostech Echo AR-II Trigger, but the controls have been modified to eliminate the use of the 3rd safety selector position. Instead, a control paddle in front of the trigger guard moves side to side to select single fire or Echo firing modes. Same functionality, but at a significantly lower price! The Echo Sport Trigger allows the shooter to select from 3 different settings: Safe Mode: Firearm will not fire. - Semi-Automatic Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled. - Echo Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled and also when the trigger is released.
The Echo Sport is different from Fostech’s Echo AR-II in that there’s an added paddle switch in front of the trigger to change firing modes from binary to standard semi-automatic firing instead of using the safety selector like the original Echo trigger. When the shooter is in the Echo Mode and depresses the trigger firing one round, the shooter can move the paddle to the semi position while firmly holding the trigger rearward and a second-round will not fire upon release.
