Fostech Stealth Series Lightning 10004T556C5:The new Fostech Stealth Lightning Series, 5.56 caliber AR-15 Rifle takes your tactical shooting experience to a whole new level. All Stealth Rifles feature Fostechs highly advanced Billet Cut upper and lower receivers. These remarkable receivers are made of a proprietary blend of magnesium and aluminum alloy making them ultra-light in weight while still being immensely strong and durable. In fact, Fostech Stealth series rifles are quite possibly the lightest, most advanced AR-15 rifles on the market today. Coming in at only 4.94 lbs, this rifle can be carried all day and yet is built to be tougher, stronger, and more accurate than most other AR rifles regardless of their weight or class. All Stealth Lightning Series rifles feature a Faxon 1 in 8 twist 16" gunner profile barrel, a lightweight Fostech Nickel Boron bolt carrier group, and the newly designed, fully optic ready Mach-2 13" M-LOK compatible lightweight rail. Unlike the 16" rail on the Raptor series, the 13" rail here reduces weight even further and allows for greater barrel and muzzle brake visibility. The Stealth Lightning has a mid-length gas system anchored by Fostechs .625 low profile gas block ensuring ultra-smooth cycling and reliability, with less felt recoil and barrel rise. All of these premium features are designed to allow the rifle to present a very trim profile while also making it a workhorse capable of long days on the range. Fostech designed this rifle to hold up under even the heaviest of combat conditions while still being one of the lightest AR-15 rifles in the world. As such, they are also ideal for law enforcement or security forces where both dependability and ease of carry are a must. On top of all that, they are an absolute work of art when it comes to overall appearance and design, and could proudly be displayed as such when not in use. The Fostech Echo II AR Trigger is a revolutionary new fast fire trigger system with a groundbreaking drop-in design. It is not select fire, but like firearms with select-fire capabilities, the mode of fire is determined by the position of the safety selector. The 3 position safety switch on the Echo II trigger allows the shooter to choose between safe, semi-auto, and Echo ( fire on pull and release ) firing options.The Echo mode option significantly reduces gap time between rounds resulting in tighter follow-up shot placement. It is also a ton of fun.The Gen II Echo Trigger is designed for direct impingement AR-15 rifles. It works with any standard full-auto style bolt carrier group, which virtually all AR-Platform rifles and pistols currently come with.It provides a clean, crisp trigger pull regardless of the firing mode selected and the trigger pull in semi-auto mode is as good as, if not better, than most other standard mil-spec triggers. In addition, the Echo II trigger is fully approved by the ATF.
The Echo Trigger allows the shooter to select from 3 different settings:
Safe Mode: Firearm will not fire. Semi-Auto Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled. Echo Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled and also when the trigger is released.The Echo Trigger is designed with safety being the utmost priority. Even in the Echo Mode, if the shooter depresses the trigger firing one round and decides not to fire the second, the shooter can move the selector to the safe position, and a second round will not fire upon release. In addition, the Echo II trigger has several distinct features making it unique to the marketplace, and its drop-in design makes it highly sought after by both recreational and professional shooters.
