Fostech built this rifle from the ground up, focusing on their incredible Echo II Binary Trigger. The trigger has three settings safe, semi, and binary, meaning that the gun fires when you pull the trigger and when you release the trigger. They installed their trigger in a proprietary LITE receiver that is 30% lighter than aluminum and just as strong coupled with a standard aluminum anodized upper. This Hybrid coupling between the Lits lower and standard upper provides the best of both worlds while keeping the price point to a minimum. This rifle also features Fostechs 13" LITE Mach II M-LOK handguard so you can attach all of the lights and grips you need to complete the mission. Both the receiver and the rail are finished in a beautiful Tungsten cerakote finish. These colors contrast beautifully with the black anodized upper and black nitride barrel. Fostech was generous and also included their Saber Grip, an MFT Minimalist stock, and a set of high-quality flip-up sights ( the ones we looked at had Kriss sights which are very nice ), but sights may vary based on availability. The Phantom Hybrid Lite also comes with an M16 Mil-Spec BCG so that it can run flawlessly with the binary trigger and a full profile 16" 4150 CMV steel barrel that is button rifled at a 1 in 7 twist rate. The barrel is threaded at 1/2x28 and fitted with Fostechs famous strake muzzle brake. This model has been cerakoted in a tungsten / black combination giving you a truly unique rifle.
