The Forster Products DIEG10DOZEN is a Cross Bolt Die Lock Ring that offers an exceptionally secure and precise connection. This lock ring, distinct for its ability to grasp the entire die, promotes a more accurate alignment of the lock ring threads and die threads. Part of the premium package of Forster's Bench Rest Dies, this device enhances the utility and longevity of your tool set.
Overlaying its simple usage, the unique cross bolt Fuse unifies the two ends of the ring. This careful design diverts from the traditional screw technique that directly tightens into the die threads. Consequently, it ensures a more accurate union of the lock ring threads and the die threads while preventing any damage to the die threads.
In addition to its innovative design for superior alignment and no canting, the steel cross bolt screw can be easily adjusted with a 7/64 hex key (Allen wrench). This lock ring is excellently suited for standard 7/8-14 thread dies from most manufacturers.
