FN SCAR 20S: Highly anticipated, the FN SCAR 20S chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor is the latest in battle-proven technology based on the legendary platform of the 7.62-caliber MK 17 and MK 20 SSR. This platform is perfectly calibrated for long-range precision fire. The SCAR 20S gives you the ability to engage long-distance targets with ease. The design of the gas-operated piston absorbs recoil efficiently to improve follow-up shots and maintain target acquisition. This system is further aided with its match-grade two-stage trigger that features a crisp break. This variant offers a full-length 1913 rail at 12 o'clock position and a fixed buttstock providing adaptability to fit each user's needs through the adjustable length of pull and cheek rest height. This variant also offers Picitanny sections along the handguard for mounting other various accessories of your choosing.

I hope you are as excited as I am about this latest offering from F.N.! There is no denying that the 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridge has taken the long-range shooting community by storm. The 6.5 offers increased efficiency and reduced recoil. Not to mention, the price for target or match-grade ammunition is pretty hard to beat. Coupled with an intuitive design that is wickedly accurate, this caliber is here to stay. This new model is designed on the combat-proven FN MK 20 SSR (sniper support rifle) first developed for special forces. As with the standard SCAR 20S, the new versions have an extended monolithic receiver, two-stage Geissele Super SCAR trigger, and the FN MK 20 SSR precision stock, which is adjustable for length of pull and comb height. To keep with tradition, both the FN SCAR 20S in 7.62 and 6.5 will accept the 10 or 20-round FN SCAR 17S magazines. The rifle ships with a single 10-round mag.
As a bonus, the new 6.5CM version will sport a Surefire ProComp muzzle brake/compensator. SureFire states that this variant is fantastic at significantly reducing recoil impulse. Also, the cold hammer-forged and chrome-plated 20-inch barrel uses a 1-in-8 right-hand twist and is crafted from FN’s legendary machine gun steel.
