The FNS-9C Compact pistol offers the same features as the standard model but has a 3.6" barrel and is designed to be snag-free for better concealment and a faster draw. The front sight also has a larger dot for faster target acquisition. This FN pistol comes with two 12rd mags and one 17rd mag. The FNS series of pistols are a compact size ideal for concealed carry. This pistol offers the simplicity of double-action striker-fired operation combined with the proven ergonomics of the FNX platform. Standard on all models are the ambidextrous slide stop levers and magazine release buttons for ease of operation with either hand and from any firing position. Both the slide and barrel are stainless steel, and the checkered polymer frame has two interchangeable backstraps with lanyard eyelets. A MIL-STD 1913 mounting rail on the underside accepts tactical lights and lasers.Note - As Very Good to Excellent LEO pistols, these give the buyer an opportunity to purchase a very close to new pistol condition wise... at a price point substantially below retail on the same gun. What an outstanding find. These FNS-9C pistols are law enforcement trade-ins with a majority of them never being carried by an agency. From what we can gather, these pistols were sent to a department for testing and were intended to be used by detectives as their main sidearm, however, the department ultimately ended up going with another manufacturer. We have noticed varying degrees of wear on a few pistols in this group where they were used for testing and evaluation however all will meet NRA Very Good condition. In fact many are in Excellent condition and some even appear to be like new. All of these pistols are manufactured with night sights but due to their history as LEO guns we do not guarantee the amount of life left in the night sights.
