Introducing the FN 66101712, the latest evolution of FN's Tactical pistol lineage, the FN 509 Midsize Tactical. Perfectly designed for concealed carry, home defense, and duty usage, this multi-functional weapon comes ready for a red dot and suppressor.
The pistol is perfectly proportioned for optimal shooting capability and rapid sight acquisition in comparison to smaller pistols. The fine-tuned recoil impulse provides excellent control and accuracy, assisted by a smoothly operating trigger which cleanly breaks approximately at 5lbs.
Tactical shooters who desire the perfect blend of carrying capacity and concealability, without compromising on quality and versatility, will find the FN 509 Midsize Tactical to be the perfect fit. Key features include FN's Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System, Fully ambidextrous controls, 15-round and 24-round magazines, Suppressor-height 3-dot night sights, Easily added MRDs, Durable PVD finish, and an External extractor with a loaded chamber indicator. The barrel is a cold hammer-forged stainless steel one with a recessed target crown. There is a polished chamber, a feed ramp and a 1/2 x 28 threaded Barrel with an O-Ring retention thread cap.
The frame includes a high endurance striker and a Duty-safe trigger with a 5.6-lb. pull. Also present is an enhanced grip texture for faster follow-up shots and interchangeable backstraps.
