The slide is minimized to the lowest possible length (4.25") without hampering the renowned reliability of the traditional 5" slide. The Ed Brown Bobtail housing innovation brings a refreshing modification to the frame. It cleverly reduces the protruding butt of the mainspring housing while preserving the total size of both the frame and magazine capacity.
Specific to the Kobra pistol family is the innovative directional Snakeskin treatment applied on the forestrap, Bobtail housing, as well as the slide. This unique design is smooth for an upward hand slide but retains a snug grip when gripped from the other end. This superb Kobra Carry model also includes special features such as a recessed slide stop, a flush barrel with a recessed crown, and a heavy chamfer.
