The DT Sport "Lite" was designed specifically as the untimate light weight, no frills entry / carry rifle. It features a 16" light weight barrel with 1x9 twist, 6 position M4 stock, CAR handguards with single heat shields, and A2 flash hider. To further decrease the weight and make the rifle more streamlined several non essential features, such as the dust cover (trap door over the bolt ), the forward assist, and the shell deflector which are somewhat traditional to most AR-15's, do not come on this rifle. This weapon has a very streamlined lower receiver and the molded picatinny rail will accept virtually all rear sights and optics. This rifle is fantastic as a carry /entry /home defense weapon and is accurate and reliable.The DT Sport Lite comes with 1x 30rd magazine and a CA approved Gun Lock. Shipped in a factory box with warranty and a chamber safety tool in the chamber, clearly showing the weapon is unloaded.
