At its core is a cold-hammer-foraged barrel, along with a DD-enhanced flash suppressor to minimize flash signature.
The V7 LW comes with a mid-length gas system which guarantees reliable cycling under all conditions, while also mitigating perceived recoil and the wear and tear of moving parts. The inclusion of a free-floating MFR XS Sights 15.0 hand-guard not only lightens the load but also enhances cooling, ergonomics, and modularity, without compromising on the rigidity and durability that Daniel Defense is renowned for.
Another notable feature of the V7 LW is its abundant M-LOK attachment points, available in 7 positions, along with an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail on top, offering ample room for the user to attach whatever sights, optics, and accessories they may need. The finishing touches include a sturdy, ergonomic Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip.
Lastly, this 5.56 model features a 16-inch barrel and a unique Rattlecan finish from Daniel Defense. This hybrid paint scheme ingeniously combines Daniel's in-house Tornado and Mil Spec + Cerakote finishes.
