The rifle showcases a mid-length gas system ensuring reliable, smooth cycling irrespective of operating conditions. This innovative design also aids in reducing perceived recoil and wear on moving components.
The lightweight MFR XS Sights 15.0 hand-guard not only helps cut down on weight but also promotes superior cooling, user-friendly ergonomics, and versatile modularity, all without compromising the trademark strength and longevity that Daniel Defense is known for.
Featuring M-LOK attachment points along 7 positions and an uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail on top, the V7 LW provides ample space to accommodate any additional sights, optics, or accessories to suit specific user requirements.
The finishing touches come in the form of a robust and comfortable Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip. This 5.56 model features a 16" barrel and is coated with the unique Daniel Defense Rattlecan finish- a creative blend of Daniel's proprietary Tornado and Mil Spec + Cerakote finishes.
