The CVA CR3907R: The Cascade marks CVA's groundbreaking entry into the domain of bolt-action centerfire rifles. With a heritage spanning almost five decades in manufacturing top-notch muzzle-loading rifles and single-shot centerfires, CVA has successfully harnessed this vast experience into producing what they believe is the most outstanding bolt-action rifle in the market priced at $600 or less.
The CASCADE's barrel, made of durable 4140 carbon steel, comes finished in a sophisticated matte blue or in Cerakote Flat Dark Earth on request. A distinctive feature of this series is a threaded muzzle, ready to be fitted with a brake or suppressor based on your requirements. The bolt design has been created for smooth, fast operation with a 70° throw, also providing ample clearance for scopes. A two-position safety is positioned conveniently for easy and immediate operation.
Loading is simplified with its four-round flush fit detachable magazine, with additional magazines available from CVA. The CASCADE comes with a proprietary synthetic stock that is reinforced with fiber-glass and finished with SoftTouch in either charcoal gray or Veil Wideland camo, ensuring a steady grip in the toughest weather conditions. The removable spacer in the buttstock allows for length of pull adjustment, making the Cascade suitable for a wide range of users – from youths, adults of smaller stature, to full-sized hunters who need a shortened stock to wear with heavy winter clothing.
Enhancing its versatility, the Cascade includes dual front swivel studs, enabling simultaneous use of a sling and a bi-pod. Adding a scope to the Cascade is effortless, as it is compatible with two-piece mounts made for the Savage 110 AccuTrigger models available widely. A bonus feature of the Cascade is the complimentary Quake Claw rifle sling, an $18 addition, renowned as a high-tech performance hunting sling.
