This 10.50" 9mm MkGs Dissent is a first-rate portable Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) which is recognized for its outstanding capability within the MkGs platform. The Dissent model is constructed ruggedly from 7075 T6 Aluminum receivers, ensuring its durability and robustness.
All Dissents are equipped with a 1913 picatinny rail end cap, which allows for the attachment of slings, pistol braces, or even the stock of your liking. It operates using a forward non-reciprocating side charger, allowing for swift functionality while remaining fixed on your target.
The model's Radial Delayed Blowback Compact Action aptly addresses the engineering challenges that come with varying 9mm ammo loadings. By employing a fixed ejector in the upper receiver, it can handle both supersonic and subsonic bullet weights. This technique results in a lighter Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) which signifies less felt recoil, while also maintaining consistent performance regardless of ammo type. Furthermore, it offers compatibility with a broader range of lowers.
Alongside CMMG, TriggerTech has crafted the AR-D 2-Stage Trigger specifically for use with Dissent firearms and upper receiver groups. The trigger, with a 4 lb pull weight, offers a light, repeatable break. However, please note that CMMG doesn't assure optimal Dissent functionality with Mil-Spec or other aftermarket triggers.
