M1912 Chilean Mauser, 5 Round Internal Magazine, Bolt Action, 7x57mm Mauser by Waffenfabrik Steyr - Made In Austria. Surplus Fair Condition Incomplete with Missing Parts.
The model 1912 Chilean Mauser replaced the 1895 Chilean Mauser and incorporates the improvements developed by Paul Mauser and introduced in his 1898 rifle. Built in Austria by Waffenfabrik Steyr, it is chambered in 7x57 (7mm Mauser) and has a 5 round internal magazine. These rifles are in surplus incomplete condition and most all will be missing hand guards and barrel bands and even possibly some other small non essential parts. Not beauty queens but certainly re-storable and and at a fantastic price. A great addition to any collection, and one of the most affordable Mauser"s still available on the market.Make no mistake about it. These are not beauty queens and we are not representing them as such. In fact they are pretty darn rough. However, they are somewhat historic and could make a nice project rifle. C & R Eligible.
