The Carlsons 15599 is a specially designed Ported Buckshot choke tube from Carlson's. With its unique design, it guarantees tight patterns downrange when using 00 & 000 buckshot. A key feature is the porting of the choke, which significantly decreases recoil and muzzle jump that usually accompanies the use of high-volume loads.
Moreover, this choke stands out for its dedicated constriction design. This allows for optimum patterns, whether using small or large loads, and extends approximately 1" out of the barrel. The Carlsons 15599 choke is machined from 17-4 heat-treated material, ensuring its robustness and versatility. It can be used with Lead, Steel, and Hevi-Shot loads.
However, it's important to note that this choke should not be used with Steel Shot larger than BB or with any Steel shot traveling faster than 1550 FPS.
