The Carlsons 80160 Ported Bone Collector Turkey Choke Tubes stands out with its meticulously tested, super-tight constriction that ensures extremely compact patterns with all types of shotshell ammunition used for turkey hunting. These include lead, nickel-plated, copperplated, bismuth, hevi-shot, tungsten, and TSS.
The choke tube's longer taper section to the constriction, also known as the parallel section of the choke tube, guarantees tight patterns with fewer flyers, resulting in more pellets on target every time. The Bone Collector Choke Tubes are precisely crafted from 17-4 heat treated stainless steel and come with a non-reflective matte black finish for optimal performance.
Every choke tube constriction has been carefully tested and has proven to deliver excellent patterns with 4 through 10 shot. For shot sizes larger than #4, it's recommended to use a more open choke tube for the best patterning. Keep in mind to pattern your shotgun choke tube with the specific shot shell load you intend to use. Different ammunition types and brands will result in different patterns from the same choke tube.
