The Buffalo Bore Ammunition 20H/20 has been engineered specifically for those in need of a robust, deep penetrating 357 Magnum or 38 Special load. Ideal for use with lightweight alloy 357's and any 38 Special revolvers, this load provides an "outdoor" specificity aimed towards lightweight pocket 357 handguns.
Its distinctive power is derived from its hard, flat-nosed bullet which retains sufficient velocity, even when fired from 2-inch barrels, enabling it to completely penetrate the skull of gators or bears. Moreover, this load is safe for use with all 38 Spl and 357 Magnum firearms of modern design, so long as they are in good working condition.
While being compatible with super lightweight alloy revolvers (around 11-12 oz.), the bullet will not compromise its crimp under recoil, unless an unfired round is subjected to more than 5 to 6 firings. In all steel guns, including those with short barrels, crimp jump is not an issue due to their weight.
One of the key features of this load is that it uses a flash-retardant powder, thus guaranteeing the shooter is not blinded in low light conditions. This is an essential advantage as wildlife and potential threats tend to become more active when darkness falls.
