This pistol was considered one of the most advanced models of its day and was the springboard that brought handgun technology into the 21st century. Not only that, but these Hi-Powers were manufactured in the original Fabrique Nationale Herstal factory in Belgium. In fact, they feature the original F.N Herstal Belgium factory stamp as well as the Browning patent stamp right on the slide. From what we have seen most serial #'s appear to match but we simply don't have time to break each one down to verify. The actions are amazingly smooth and the single-action triggers appear to be just as crisp as the day they were made. The barrel crowns are all in good shape and as with all Hi-Powers, the manual safety locks the hammer in both the half-cock or fully cocked position.Finish wear varies of course from gun to gun with some showing more holster wear than others but none are really bad cosmetically and all are in excellent mechanical functioning condition. Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a piece of firearms history
