Introducing the Browning 035567218, new for 2023. This fresh and innovative bolt-action rifle from Browning is specifically designed with the long-range target shooter and competitor in mind. It showcases a reinforced, weightier receiver that is full-diameter, coupled with a sporter weight barrel made from fluted stainless steel. This barrel comes complete with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake on 5/8-24 suppressor-ready threads. Other notable features include an adjustable Target DLX trigger, extended bolt handle, and a highly adjustable MAX composite stock.

The stainless steel fluted heavy sporter barrel is designed for optimum long-range accuracy, while the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake effectively lessens recoil by up to 76%. The rifle is also equipped with a secure 20 MOA Picatinny optics rail with a bubble level, partner to the receiver by four outsized 8-40 screws and a solid steel pin.
The thoughtful design extends to an extended bolt handle that lowers opening forces. If barrel replacement is needed, the recoil lug is firmly pinned to the receiver to maintain perfect alignment. Furthermore, the barrel is free-floated and bedded both at the front and rear of the action for consistent accuracy and stability.
In addition, the bolt unlock button provides additional safety by working in conjunction with the top-tang safety to ensure secure checking and unloading of the chamber. The bolt lift, at a short 6, ensures fast cycling and easy bolt workability. Lastly, an Inflex Recoil Pad is integrated for added comfort.
