The Browning 035451227: Browning's X-Bolt combines the best features of Browning's past rifles with some new, enhanced ones. Chief among these is the adjustable three-lever Feather Trigger system, giving a clean, crisp pull without any take-up. The barrel, which is supported at the front and back of the action, is free-floating. This design improves stability and preserves consistent spacing between the barrel and the stock, which in turn boosts accuracy. The rifling is protected by a recessed muzzle crown to prevent damage.
Browning's custom bolt unlock button operates in harmony with the top-tang safety, adding an extra margin of safety. With a rapid 60-degree bolt lift, the bolt cycles swiftly, enabling you to work it quickly. The Target model stands out with its drilled and tapped steel receiver with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail. A gray stainless steel, free-floating fluted bull barrel includes a muzzle brake and 5/8-24 threads.
The rifle is adorned with a McMillan A3-5, complete with an adjustable comb and textured gripping surfaces. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad has been added for additional comfort. The unique Urban Carbon Ambush camo finish on the stock and forend sets this model apart.
