These highly sought after and collectible BM-59 Paratrooper rifles are meticulously reassembled by James River Armory utilizing original Grade A Beretta parts kit including the original side folding paratrooper stock, bi-pod,  and magazines. However, these are even better than the originals in that they feature a brand-new CNC billet cut all steel U.S. made receiver and a new US manufactured U.S. made barrel with a 1 in 10 twist rate. This BM-59 Paratrooper model also features the highly advanced and sought after 2 piece removable flash hidder which distinguishes this BM-59 from all of the other models. The flash hidder itself, if it can be found, is worth several hunderd dollars. Each Paratrooper comes in a hard case, with an owner's manual, installed bi-pod, an original Italian issued multi tool packet, and 1- 20 round magazine. The Beretta BM 59 is an Italian-made rifle based on the M1 Garand rifle but chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO caliber and modified to use a detachable magazine. The basic BM59 appeared in four major marks. The BM59 Mk I was the initial production model with an all-wood solid stock with an integrated pistol grip. The BM59 Mk II also featured an all-wood solid stock though incorporated a full pistol grip to help improve stability during full automatic fire.

The BM59 Ital TA (BM59 Mk III) was intended for mountain infantry. As such, the design sported a reduced length stock with a collapsible skeletal butt, a standard-issue bipod, flash hider and a pistol-style grip. All of these changes made for a more compact system suitable for mountain fighting. Another development included the BM59 Ital Paratrooper model (seen here) which was intended for Italian paratroopers. For all intents and purposes, the BM59 Ital Para fell in line with the aforementioned BM59 Ital TA save for a shorter barrel and removable flash hider. There were only a few thousand of these ever made making them one of the most highly desirable and collectible of all of the BM-59 variations. 

These BM59 Paratrooper rifles are manufactured on new billet cut all steel BM-59 receivers that have been properly heat treated for hardness to Mil-Spec, and feature a combination of new U.S. manufactured and grade A surplus Beretta parts from the original rifles. They feature a new U.S. made barrel designed to provide tack driving accuracy and are manufactured to legal Semi Auto BM59 specs. Each rifle comes with 1-20 round magazines and hard carry case.
