The inspiration for our B-14 rifles stemmed from the desire to infuse the unparalleled quality of Bergara's custom rifles into production rifles designed for the everyday hunter. The craftsmanship in the B-14 rifle trumps all other production hunting rifles on the market.
The standout feature of B-14 HMR rifle is its integrated mini-chassis, seamlessly molded into the stock for remarkable bedding and precision. It supports a fully free-floated barrel to accentuate its precision. The Bergara Hunting and Match rifles are uniquely crafted to excel in both hunting and competitive shooting. The stock features convenient adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull spacers. Fabricated in Spain at our contemporarily automated and proficient barrel factory, this rifle is unrivaled in its quality and performance for its price range.
This long-range precision rifle employs the globally recognized Bergara barrel, complemented by our characteristic, super-smooth B-14 Action. This incorporates a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor along with a coned bolt nose and breech, ensuring seamless cartridge feeding and extraction. The weapon includes a custom Bergara curved trigger, designed to provide a crisp, clean pull every time. The trigger is preset to approximately three pounds. The rifle is factory drilled and tapped to enable Remington 700 style ring and base fittings.
The B-14 rifle features a Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel with a matte blue finish, available in an assortment of lengths, each designed for a specific caliber. The barrel lengths and calibrated weight for each version are as follows: 20 inches for the .308 and .450 Bushmaster (9.15 lbs), 22 inches for the 6.5 Creedmoor (9.25 lbs), 24 inches for the .22-250 (9.2 lbs), 26 inches for the 6mm Creedmoor (9.7 lbs) and also 26 inches for the .300 Win Mag (9.6 lbs). The threaded 5/8-24 muzzle includes a protector.
The HMR rifle comes with a standard 5-round AICS detachable magazine. QD flush cups are integrated into the stock to facilitate easy attachment and detachment of slings. The rifle specifications include adjustable length of pull, barrel taper, twist rate, threaded muzzle with protector, Remington 700 ring and base compatibility, integrated QD flush cup mounts, and a full-length integrated mini-chassis for repeatable bedding and fully free-floated barrel.
