The Geissele Automatics 08-478B, also known as the ALG Defense El Jefe, is a top-tier rifle tailored for those seeking a Mil-Spec grade firearm at an affordable price point. This holistic rifle system not only includes the El Jefe rifle but also a sling and a Warner & Swasey red dot sight.
The foundation of El Jefe unifies upper and lower parts, that begin with 7075 aluminum billets sourced domestically. These are processed via a CNC horizontal machining center, where the majority of the aluminum is eliminated, thereby creating a robust but lightweight component. The handguard comes from the acclaimed ALG V3X range, featuring a slender, round profile with low visibility M-LOK slots.
The rifle has been paired with a SOPMOD stock from B5 Systems and connected to a 7075-T6 aluminum Mil-Spec six position buffer tube. Integrated into the El Jefe is the ALG Defense Advanced Combat Trigger. Additionally, the 5.56 NATO chamber supports both .223 Remington and military 5.56mm ammunition. The muzzle crown is safeguarded with an A2 flash hider.
The package includes an M4 carbine Mil-Spec web sling, a pair of steel QD swivels and Warner & Swasey 3MOA red dot sight. The sight incorporates backup iron sights eliminating the need for a separate BUIS set, ensuring your readiness in any situation.
