Proudly made in Charlotte, NC, Riley Defense rifles are a fantastic value and stand out in terms of quality, function, and finish. This brand new model of AK74 is build from Grade A Bulgarian parts on a US receiver, and features original Bulgarian plum-colored polymer furniture. Other features include a US made chrome lined barrel, and a Tapco G2 trigger group. Ships complete with a 30 round magazine.
Chambered in 5.45x39 caliber, this rifle is custom, hand built by Riley Defense, and finished with an attention to detail that shows. The bolt, carrier, and trunnion are matching grade A parts from Category 1 Bulgarian parts kits. No cheap cast parts here! Riley inspects each part to ensure they are still in specification, without damage or excessive wear. The rifles are then assembled on mil-spec, fully heat-treated, US-made receivers with US-made chrome lined barrels. The barrel and receiver are spray-finished to match the original factory finish as closely as possible. The original Bulgarian plum furniture includes the trap door for storage, and may show some lite wear or handling marks since they are original surplus parts. Each finished rifle is also extensively inspected, with alignment checked by laser to ensure sights and gas tubes are properly aligned. The rifles are fully 922(r) compliant, and come complete with one 30 round magazines. Rifle accepts all standard high cap mags and drums. Rifle carries the full 2 year manufacturer's warranty from Riley Defense.
