PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AK-63 Hungarian Fixed Stock AK Rifle 7.62x39, Semi-Auto W / 30 Round Mag - By James River Armory : These rifles are produced by James River Armory using matching Hungarian AK-63 Fixed Stock AK kits. A 16.3 Chrome Lined Barrel was used along with a new receiver and all the necessary US parts to comply with 922R. These rifles are very clean and when they were de-milled, they looked to be unissued rifles. Each rifle will come in a hard case with a manual and one 30 Round Magpul AK Magazine. The AK-63, also known in Hungarian military service as the AMM, is a Hungarian-manufactured variant of the iconic AKM assault rifle. Produced by Fegyver- és Gépgyár (FÉG), Hungary’s state arms plant, this rifle has become the standard infantry weapon of the Hungarian Ground Forces and is widely used across other branches of the Hungarian Defence Forces. Built for reliability and performance, the AK-63 upholds the rugged design and function of the original AK platform while serving as a staple in Hungarian military service. In Hungarian military service, the AK-63 was introduced as a cost-effective alternative to the AMD-65, which had been the standard rifle since 1965. While nearly identical, the AMD-65 featured a modified heat shield and a vertical forward grip that, despite aiding control, was prone to field damage and drove up production costs. In response, the Hungarian Defense Ministry tasked FÉG with producing a more economical, Soviet-style AKM variant. By late 1977, the AK-63 was adopted by the Hungarian People's Army, initially for the Ground Forces. In 1978, FÉG expanded the lineup with a folding-stock version based on the AKMS design, distinguishing the fixed-stock AK-63F (Wooden Stock) from the folding-stock AK-63D (Descent). In Hungarian service, these rifles are known as the AMM (fixed stock) and AMMS (folding stock), respectively, and continue to serve as standard-issue across the Hungarian Defense Forces. These are sure to go quickly so do not wait to order. These are absolutely gorgeous rifles. Limited quantity.
